Watching your child play football

Haha no. I was a kid when they filmed it and was an extra in the film.

Was on set for two whole days and I’m in it for literally one second.

Parts of it were filmed in and around my school so we were allowed to apply to be extras.

It was so much fun just being on set near all the fancy cameras and lighting gear etc. The crew were amazing and Robert Carlyle hung around with us kids literally for hours and hours. Didn’t fuck off to his green room etc, was a properly nice guy.

Carlyle seems like an everyday guy.

Bumped into him in the downstairs Spar in town 20 years back.

I said to him as he was about to gib up the stairs as I can down it 'Mr Carlyle, you're one of my favourite Brit actors!' (I gives no fucks as actors are only Human). He said 'Thanks, that's nice to hear!', shook my hand and got off up the stairs.
