Watford (a) post-match

I know we won comfortably, but we'd have been disappointed with the two borderline offside goals and a turned down penalty (for Kyle Walker arriving late) if they'd been given against us.

it's unusual for an away side to score 6 in the Prem, so very well done City.

That's the 4th time City have done it in the Premier League, out of 27 instances (Liverpool 6, City 4, Chelsea 4, United 4)

I'm guessing that all of ours have come in the last six or seven years, whereas (e.g.) the rags and dippers is spread over 25 years?

aye, as above, we've had 4 times since 2010.

United last did it in 2003. Liverpool pretty full spread.

I watched the match again & even if we'd had both offside goals ruled out & they'd scored with their 2 sitters & been given the penalty, we'd still have won 3-4.

We've had enough decisions go against us for me to be quite comfortable for these to go in our favour, however we must look to our immediate future. We only have one left back, 2 strikers & 4 fit CB's with one being Tosin & the other Mangala.

It's gonna be a long season & a couple of key injuries could stall our progress, if not derail us as we saw last season. This is why I've continually stated we're still a work in progress until we address these potential short comings.

I honestly think that Delph, Mangala & Danilo could become crucial to our season.

Cheers M18. If you've got the stats to hand, are we also the only team to have done it twice in one season?
