I think it might benefit us them having a good start to the season as I think they might try and take us on rather than park the bus.
Ageeed. I think we have a much better chance of winning if they come out and attack us- unless Otamendi has a shocker.

They put 3 past Chelsea at the end of last season, 3 past Liverpool a month ago, which is more than enough to make us, Liverpool and Chelsea worry about them the next time we play.
So I guess none of us are title contenders by your completely shite metric.
Bournemouth, Chelsea, Liverpool or Watford have nothing to do with the general attitude or even philosophy of our club.
You talk about single score lines from last or this season. We don't, mate.
I am absolutely sure Pep wouldn't talk about 'worries' pre match but about OUR strengths and opportunities, although respecting the opponent.
20 years back I maybe would have agreed calling it arrogant.
Nowadays City won't be the underdog in one single match of this season.
I even think we will be the media's laughing stock if we go to Watford hoping for a point.
The club has to step up, the players too, and also the fanbase.
Pep wants to establish this attitude as a fundamental winning mentality within the club.
Of course you are free to worry as much as you want though.

No one is talking about wanting a fucking point or being the under dog - obviously we will go and expect to win- but that's completely different to mossideblue's attitude that the team has absolutely nothing to fear about Watford which is a Raggy level of arrogance for fans to adopt after just 2 good performances against a side which has caused two of our rivals serious problems in the recent past.
He's not just saying we'll be facourites, he's saying that if we have any worries at all about a team that actually outperformed us vs. Chelsea last season and has started the season well, that we should write off all talk of being title contenders which is just stunningly ignorant of the opposition.

Just had a read, they just have small club syndrome, most of it is word for word what Blackpool fans were saying during their short stay in the premier, they have had a bright start to the season so their cockiness and giddiness is to be expectedThe WFCforums.com forum is hilarious... the OP must have been beaten with a City scarf at some point... bitter bitter bastards...
