They were virtually down when he took over, he took 27pts in his 22 games in charged, theyd of stayed up with some to spare with him at the helm from day dot, no question
I knew he'd done well with them I didn't know how well, that is the equivalent to just over 46 points in 38 games . Southampton finished 8th with 46 points!

When other mangers look at our team they quickly realise they can't man mark individual players or it be 1 on 1 defending. So only option is defend waste time dive cheat set pieces and on the break oh the referee.

Confidence is high - we should have been 2 points better off except our silly sod left CB got himself sent off after 15 minutes against Brighton - but everybody realises that City are a completely different kettle of fish to what we've faced so far. That said, Chalobah and Doucoure have absolutely bossed the midfield in the last couple of games, and their is pace and flair with Richarlison, Carrillo and Grey. You might be surprised, but probably will be too strong.
However it goes, we are enjoying games 100 times more than the feeble dross served up under Mazzarri.
Thanks for the reply,it sounds like you'll have no trouble finishing in a very respectable position so,after Saturday, all the best and enjoy the ride!

Watford Kiko Femenia is fit to face Manchester City after recovering from a head injury sustained against Southampton last weekend.

Fellow defender Younes Kaboul suffered a hamstring injury against Saints and won't be fit, but forward Roberto Pereyra returns.

City defender Vincent Kompany is back in training and should be available for the trip to Vicarage Road.

Raheem Sterling returns to the squad after serving a domestic ban.

With that squad it was a bloody miracle... he also promoted 3/4 of the academy lads, post phelan, not because of the shortages like him but because of his coaching ability, he actually sold there perceived best players in snodgrass, Livermore and Bruce, came in with 7pts on the board in January and came within a whisker of staying up..... but it causes confusion (:

To be honest, it is always hard for the first few games to work out if it is Watford who are so good, or the other teams who are poor, so tomorrow will be the test. Good luck to you guys too after tomorrow - anything to keep a smile of Mourinho's mug makes me happy (same as it did under SAF!)
