The level of intensity and physicality is waayyyy to diferent from PL2 to PL.

Palmer will be toast if he immediately put into starter and play a whole match today.

I think the goal difference ship has sadly sailed. We are not going to turn round a 6-goal deficit. We should win without too many dramas but Hodgson will make it harder than we've previously had it against Watford. For goal difference to become a factor, we would have to lose a game and Liverpool draw a game so that we're level on points. This would mean their goal difference improves further. Then it comes down to goals scored, where they are ahead of us. We're looking at a minimum 8-goal swing in half-a-dozen games. I think we just need to win the game and look after our prize assets where possible.

Can't completely agree with this Sir John. I do think it's unlikely, but it could happen in one big game if we catch an 'on the beach' team and score early. If we score two early goals against Watford (who are nearly on the Beach) they may capitulate. Then again, Liverpool can score big too.

Most important of all is simply 3 points.
If we get a big win that suits the goal difference, it’s a bonus.
Playing wonderful would be another bonus.
This is it for the next 6 PL games.

I know a win is a win and 3 important points, but we could do with a convincing win say 4 or 5 nil, just to get the confidence cranked up even more for the RM double header and a tricky game at Elland Rd next wk

I was surprised to see, @a moment ago on betfair, £679k matched on our game compared to £267k on arse-rags.
Btw, I know they are flakey but surely arse at evens looks a decent bet...

That team who played in the FA Cup semifinal let Pep down. If a £100m player, one of our top scorers in Pep’s tenure, our so-called wonder kid, our second best player, our most experienced player and captain, our two most in-form defenders, and one of our better performers of the season… can’t put in a performance then that’s all on them. It wasn’t a sacrifice.

If that team is picked tomorrow, it should be ripping Watford apart, and giving de Bruyne and Dias some more time to recover ahead of Real Madrid.

It’s exactly why we have a squad.

Everton lol they are atrocious. Be amazed if that's anything less than 4-0. Think we have more of shot with Newcastle next week (12.30 game just to piss Klopp off lol).
