Silva twice world class, the flick over the opponent's head and the undeniable through-ball to Sané who picked the right option and Sergio got his 2nd. Fourth goal party time, just good hard work from Jesus and Fernandinho, from RB, for finding the finish. Sergio motm two goals, highest scoring season for us, and the assist to Gabriel who finished very well. Feels great to get 3rd place, the last few games and especially today we've shown how good we can be. As the captain said himself, "bring on next season".

Unless Sergio now comes out and says he is staying, then I don't care what Pep says.
This is a £70m asset and you don't telegraph he is surplus to requirements.
Will be interested to see how it all plays out.
Sergio couldn't have tried any harder these last few weeks.

LolThe only grumble I have is that 5 is good but if we'd done a spuds that would have show a true statement of intent for next season. After the fifth i was expecting another 2 or 3, instead we put the beach towels out.
Aguero was probably pissed off that he missed decent chances more than anything else. I wouldn't read too much into his expression.
Good game against a rather weak team, though as with Tuesday all the energy went out of the game following our end of season goodbye substitutions.
