None of the signings look that good to me, Robinho Given and possibly Kompany.
Bridge no better than what we had, waste of money.
We have-not replaced Corluka and we need a much younger version of Hamann
 
He is a good player but something isn't right with the way he is performing at the minute. Maybe he isn't 100% fit? Since Jan he has had no protection on the left, so many times he is left 2 on 1 which hasn't helped his form. Maybe if we had a manager who knew how to play a decent formation he might do better!
 
He's not - he get's no protection cos we play 4.3.3. Robinho, Elano and Petrov aren't exactly famous for helping out their full backs. Now, if we're talking rubbish left backs, Jason Van Blerk will never be beaten for ineptitude.

This is such a shit excuse. Why did he look so hopeless today then? Normal excuse "WAH WAH WAH Robinho DOESN'T COVER BACK SO HE MAKES BRIDGE LOOK WORSE THAN HE IS" yet Petrov is playing and you pull out the same excuse. We have 2 defensive midfielders on the pitch, if it's a problem of "no protection" then tell De Jong or Kompany to pull their fingers out and come across to provide cover. Bridge is shit in 1 on 1 situations too. Time and time again he'll either get skinned or back off completely and fail to attempt a tackle. He shuffles along and gets 1 cross blocked out of 10 that go into the box. Not to mention he's been at fault for at least 5 goals since he's been here. If he isn't 100% fit then why is he playing?

"at the minute"? He's been shite ever since he signed. There's a reason he was bench warming at Chelsea and that Chelsea were happy to let him go without having adequate cover for left-back themselves.
 
the back 4 let us down. i mean dunne made 3 or 4 mistakes which should have finished the game in the first half. bridge just can't clear the ball at all. i mean its 2 inches away from him.and he still can't clear it. and richards was disastrous. clearly the ball had gone to given but why did he have to interfere when dunne was marking frazier

Oh dear, you must thinks he's very VERY bad. Frontzeck was the worse player EVER to play for City.
I can remember once he was moving down the wing, no pressure from the opposition, not even breaking sweat and he just ran over the line with the ball... Doh
