Wayne Bridge is absolute rubbish

the arguement that he hasnt got any help in the 4-3-3 system doesnt hold any water, who does clichy, evra, and cole have helping them out because they all play the same system, but they are good enough positionaly to cope with playing this formation, why do you think mourinho signed cole when bridge was already in his squad, because he knew bridge couldnt handle playing in this system but we still signed him knowing we play it.

I think this half season was always going to be a write off for him, more important to get him used to playing week in week out, get to know the club and the players and be ready to make a big run at it next season.

Can't say I haven't been disappointed by him though, and I am worried that he might not be up to it with us.

I'd keep him on, but I'd definately by someone that could step in if Bridge doesn't come up to scratch. And I wouldn't hesitate to bench him if he doesn't improve.

all i am saying is using the system as a excuse is just wrong it is not impossible to be a good full back in that system and if you pay 11m for a left backwho isnt the best then you have been well and truley shafted

Bridge has been a let-down but I remember a lot of people crying out for us to sign him not so long ago. I'll admit I was pretty keen to sign him too, it's a shame it hasn't worked out so far but I think next season could be a different story. We definitely paid over the odds but that's what we can expect now that people know we'll pay silly money.

I was as well and I've never been more wrong about anything, ever.

It wouldn't be a problem that we paid 12m if he was half decent... but he isn't.

With no European qualification, I wonder who we can actually, realistically bring in to replace him.

i'm sorry Bridge, but i think Ball and Garrido are better......... (I thought that before we bought him though)...
For £10 f##kin million......................

Yes bring back Michael Ball I say!! Much prefer him, at least he could defend. He must be well pissed off though, he was really willing to prove his worth too after injury earlier in the season then hughes went and bought the bell end pigeon chested bridge!
