Wayne Bridge.....where was he when Kaboul....

However, you slice the blame for me you cannot look further than a fresh SWP who was not arsed to track back and cover a RB who had been up and down the pitch for 80 minutes. If you care to note, exactly the same as when he did not track back to cover a nackered Ned in the Derby game when Scholes scored from a cross. If he does not like his £60K a week, on those two performances he can Fck right off. No way can you blame a manager for bad substitutions when subs like SWP cannot be bothered.

Only a football moron will spout the shite above. Blaming SWP

So we have almost half the team behind the ball to be blamed directly when SWP lost the ball in one of his foray attack.
So now we have the usual suspects to be blamed then;
1.Vieira
2. Bellamy
3. de Jong for sitting tight
4. Zab for covering for Vieira
5. Bridge not closing down after a Bellamy 'missed tackle'
& not including our CBs & our Puskas
6. Mancini for not replacing a 'knackered' Bellamy earlier.
7. I will even throw in the referee, for not giving Hudd a red card, as a bonus.

Did this happened in the LAST MINUTE of the game where we don't need a WIN after all?

Well it would not be disingenuous of OP to suggest otherwise.

This OP needs to be slagged for being a MORON for suggesting that SWP is to be BLAMED. Its clear that video shows that we have at least seven (7) City players behind the ball when Bellamy's mistimed his tackle on Kaboul.

If you are a genuine City fan, your sentiments for certain players are misplaced. Scapegoating players unfairly should not be encouraged in this City forum! I can understand the agenda of 5th. columnists but to perpetuate those agent provacateurs' 'myth' is assinine.

a common theme, seems we're never happy with left backs, ball, garrido, sylvinho, bridge etc! Always seems that our left back is left 2 on 1 meaning he cant dive in and is struggling to cover the cross. Maybe we should be looking at the players infront of him?
Personally i'm a fan of bridge i like the way he attacks and there must be a reason why chelsea bought him in the past and why he was englands second choice behind the best left back in the world.
The one thing i would say against him is that sometimes he seems flustered and doesn't make a decision, putting more pressure on himself.
I think he'll still be around next season and will be part of what will hopefully be a very successful side!

Absolute crap!! I thought he was a good signing but lately? DIRE he does not close the winger down,no aggression,no balls no wonder his bird cheated on him,a loser of the highest order and before anyone gets all high and mighty this guy is getting £80.000 a WEEK!!!

Watch the video and you will see who is a moron and who is correct. SWP is clearly strolling back instead of covering the fullback. If he had been on for 90 minutes he would at least have a reason. SWP wants an increased contract and clearly will not perform until he gets it.

It is a football observation and does mean anyone is slagging off our players, we have to face facts and analyse situations. That is how you become a better player and the reason for coaches to develop our players and make them better.

In whatever you do one has to improve and learn from mistakes if you do not identify them we are all wasting our time.
Players should be aware of what they could/should have done in certain situations and as professionals accept resopnsibilty and want to improve.

Grow up this is about debate/discussion and hopefully some will develop their football knowledge from other peoples observations.

we need both full backs replaced, for where we are heading the likes of wayne and zab should be squad players.in truth the same can be said for a number of players including toure, micah, Ned, ireland and sweep.i also (tin hat) think vinny not exactly what we need, clumsy at times, champions dont do clumsy.
ade would be the first player sold should we get torres or similar to lazy and for me too undisciplined to be at the very top.
i'd only keep for starting 11 tevez barry, nige and bellers, johnson deserves a chance to catch up from the championship football he's used to playing. on the keepers we need BOTH hart and given, we are going to involved in a lot of games next season we need both pushing each other, we no longer lose cup games in the early rounds so fatigue, cards, injury means we need 2 top players everywhere and that includes the goalkeeper.
once bob has shaped his squad some of these players wont be here and i would like to thank them for bringing us to this level, sadly that's the end of their ride on the manchester city project but we could not have done it without them.peoples favourites will move on,some will choose to go some will be hoofed, thats football.
we all must now get ready for the next stage, which is the very top.

Not sure what Bridge brings to any side, he can't defend to save his life and even when going forward his crosses into the box are appalling.
He's not an old fashioned defensive full back or a modern day wing back either. He's an extremely lucky boy to be making millions from a job that he's just not very good at.

I've always thought he gets a raw deal from some, but I must admit his head seems to be elsewhere, he is in a definate comfort zone knowing when he is remotely fit he starts. A quality LB is a must now along with a creative, clever CM.

The blame does NOT lie with Bridge it was the manager AGAIN with his shite substitutions.
With alll due respect, you sir are a complete tosser. With Barry off injured, Vieira was the only logical replacement, especially recognising his Man of the Match display against Villa. My only slight criticism was removing Bellers, who is always a potential goalscorer. At 1-0 down, we could have sacrificed a defender but would probably have lost more heavily. We were simply dreadful second half...anf yes Bridge should leave but only if we find a better left back.
