Wayne rooney statement

You will see the difference between the two clubs when Utd play at home in the Champions League tonight and get a full house whilst we play in the Europa League in front of a hafl empty stadium.

If we were to qualify for the Champions League - possibly at their expense then the gap will be small.........but it takes years and years to build up a support.
They managed 52,689 against Valencia. More empty seats as a total and as proportion that we had against Juventus in a lesser competition.

Lou Macari on Talk Sport BEFORE Rooney's statement ..... (Paraphrase)......"Rooney is only leaving because of money ....... it's nothing to do with United's future, debt or transfer activity".

AFPML .....

These old time reds 'can't handle the truth' ! I guess they all just want to crawl up in a ball, hide under a blanket and wake up when it's all over .......

Is this the same Lou Macari that left Celtic to go to Manure even though the rags had won nowt for a few years and Shankly wanted him at Liverpool!! Perhaps it was the massive amount of money and wages that the rags were willing to pay?

The same Lou Macari that as manager of Swindon Town was fined and censured along with his chairman for illegal match fixing/ gambling on a cup tie involving his own team - not that he is interested in money of course.

Yet another hypocritical rag bastard.

As far as wooney/ rags is concerned even the BBC just referred to manUre as 'a club in decline' :-)

was funny but you still can't beat Mickey fucking Thomas virtually in tears outside the swamp yesterday!!! tick tock.....

Aye, I realised straight after I'd posted. I can remember a while back when they played Wolves in the league cup where they got a similar attendance so I didn't think it was beyond reason.

I haven't had chance to trawl through all the pages about this on here so if this has come up then I apologise, but IF we were to sign Rooney then how would that affect our position when and if we get into Europe next year? What I mean by that, with the new regulations coming in aren't we looking to try and make the club run itself?

I'm just interested to find out what we think the club will be doing to ensure we are playing European football next year.

The great thing about scrotes like Macari is that they are actually making things worse for the club by denying the truth. Hilarious!

I don't think the "exclusion" takes effect next season - although spending which we make now, would be factored into future assesments.

never wanted him but this statement has got me 50/50 on wanting him to come to our club. He has gone up in my estimations

If we are all truthfull with each other I would say no one is 100% on him joining us?

to many questions his form and how will he play along side Tevez are just some? What would Tevez thinks if he joined us?

50/50 sound about right.......

He broke the story days before it hit the press. Stan is ITK on this matter due to his relationship with Stretford.
Do you really think Stretford would blab confidential details about his star client to a Talk radio host??

Possibly if he was in the back of a Ford Escort in a Kwik Save car park with his legs wrapped around him.
