The funniest outcome could be if no-one bids for him in January. ;-)
As thing stand, I can't see many clubs bidding for him in Janaury becauseMillwallawayveteran1988 said:Rooney has damaged his reputation with rag fans even if he does change his mind. Whatever happens now, the only way he will stay with United is if they pay him the money and go out and spend a load of cash in January. This will damage them even more.
either way its a win win.

AFPML .....
These old time reds 'can't handle the truth' ! I guess they all just want to crawl up in a ball, hide under a blanket and wake up when it's all over .......

Basically says he's 100% sure Rooney will be a city player because basically we could afford to pay rooney £10 million a week if chelsea wanted to start a bidding war.

You will see the difference between the two clubs when Utd play at home in the Champions League tonight and get a full house whilst we play in the Europa League in front of a hafl empty stadium.Chris in London said:allan harper said:Wife beater collymore just talked a lot of sense saying the shift in power hasn't happened if rooney signs for city, it happened the minute Mansour took over at city. He said something similar yesterday. So did Mike Ingham on 5 Live.
Then Allan Green came on and said City were still a long way behind the rags, which frankly amazed me. In what way? On the pitch? (We are ahead of them in the league table - or has the league table suddenly started lying?) Off the pitch? Done't make me laugh. We have more financial clout than them, we have man-for-man a stronger squad than them, and we have momentum with us - unlike them.
Agree entirely the balance of power tilted our way two years ago - but sometimes it takes time for the new balance to be clearly felt. Today, the rags are feeling it, and their pain is there for all to see.

The Pink Panther said:I would just like to thank Sir Alex for making my position at Manchester United fucking untennable.
He's a fucking lying twat. I told him that losing my mates Ronnie and Carlos was costing the club dear and the manager said "don't worry Wayne, we're replacing them with world class players."
Well the pissed up Scottish cnut was lying. We signed a Portugese tramp and a gay Mexican dancer.
I know the club is in dire financial trouble and is struggling to pay my wages, so I suggested to the manger and David Gill that they should sell me for good money before the season started and so ease some of the financial burden, but the sour faced jock twat ignored my pleas and has stitched me up like a kipper, whilst trying to look like the good guy
Once a blue always a blue
Wayne
"I met with David Gill last week and he did not give me any of the assurances I was seeking about the future squad.
"I then told him that I would not be signing a new contract.
"I was interested to hear what Sir Alex had to say yesterday and surprised by some of it.
"It is absolutely true, as he said, that my agent and I have had a number of meetings with the club about a new contract. During those meetings in August I asked for assurances about the continued ability of the club to attract the top players in the world.
"I have never had anything but complete respect for MUFC. How could I not have done given its fantastic history and especially the last six years in which I have been lucky to play a part?
"For me its all about winning trophies - as the club has always done under Sir Alex. Because of that I think the questions I was asking were justified.
"Despite recent difficulties, I know I will always owe Sir Alex Ferguson a huge debt. He is a great manager and mentor who has helped and supported me from the day he signed me from Everton when I was only 18.
"For Manchester United's sake I wish he could go on forever because he's a one off and a genius."
Cookie will be all over this, this is the big name Sheik Mansour has craved since the begining and I think even if he doesnt play again until jan we will bid for him and go all out to get him
I heard Alan Green say that yesterday to didn't he sound very very bitter, I had to laugh sounded like he was on the verge of a stroke.Chris in London said:allan harper said:Wife beater collymore just talked a lot of sense saying the shift in power hasn't happened if rooney signs for city, it happened the minute Mansour took over at city.
