To be fair to Rooney....... if a chairman of a football club is so stupid that he thinks offering Rooney a job is a good idea, why should the fat slug turn it down.
A total guess says he's on 500k a year and he will get most, if not all of that, when he is sacked.

just listening to his punditry suggests Rooney will never make a great Manager. He spent most of his career at one club which played a very rigid direct formation and had a lot of success with it. I believe the (American) owner wanted a high-profile appointment.Plymouth are one of the first teams I distinctly recall us playing against, way back in the 60s. I remember quite liking the kit they wore at the time and have always had a small soft spot for them.
