Wayne Rooney

Unsurprisingly Rooney’s tiny mind is focusing on the wrong target.

I’d say Dean’s decision to blow at just over 95 minutes, given the amount of disruption to open play during injury time, was far more open to question than the actions of the QPR players in that period. There was a considerable delay in QPR restarting after Dzeko’s goal and more importantly from Sergio’s goal hitting the back of the net, to QPR being able to subsequently kick off, was over two minutes and yet he only went about 30 seconds over the minimum five minutes he had indicated just before the board went up. For at least half of the time afforded in injury time (including those extra 30 seconds) the ball was not in play.

I’d have been fucking fuming if United had been afforded that level of generosity in those circumstances.
Mike Dean isn’t being honest about this. I have actually discussed this with Clint Hill. He was absolutely adamant that he didn’t know they were safe. He said those playing up front (such as they were) did but those right at the back didn’t hence the gutted reactions of some of the defenders. It was a chat over a beer and I don’t doubt he was being honest. Nice guy by the way.

Rooney used to write for the Sunday Times. No reason not to believe they weren’t his words but whenever City was mentioned he was fair and made a lot of sense.

I can only think the QPR nonsense is to generate attention after a realisation that it pays in the media to slag off Manchester City

I suspect all his comments were ghost written, he can hardly string a sentence together FFS..

You can see by Paddy Kenny's reaction to Sergio's goal that he didn’t know QPR were safe.

There's a video shot from near the corner of the south and east stands showing the QPR bench celebrating just before Aguerooooooooo!!!, but none of the players seemed to react and those on the pitch looked devastated when we scored.
Was listening to a podcast about this. There was a QPR player on it and he said he thought that goal relegated them

Nah he genuinely believes the QPR conspiracy, he's come out with it numerous times.

He is usually fair to City otherwise though I'd agree with that. He's an Everton fan who happened to play for the rags. He doesn't hate us, he was very down for joining City until the rags threw silly money at him.

Not exactly the sharpest knife in the box, is he? This 'City-QPR Conspiracy' nonsensical thing suggests to me that his nickname 'Wazza' should rather be 'Wazzock'..

The boy's a complete and utter plank..

Why are people even giving this **** time out of their day.

He's a thick fat granny shagging bastard.

Couldn't care less what the fay fucker says, he can't even string a sentence together ffs
