Anyone either swear by this or had a go on it and think it’s shite?...
Google maps for me. Prefer it to my Tomtom. At least, on Google, you can enter an eircode (Irish equivalent of Britain's postcode). You can't on the Tomtom. Had to go to an address in Galway City earlier today. Stuck the eircode into Google maps on the phone. Led me right to the front door.
I've used it all across europe Jim, postcodes in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France etc etc, it even found where we were in Sri Lanka, though I didn't drive there.Just installed the Waze app now. It seems to accept the eircode, which is a bonus. The icons look a bit "cartoon-y" though.
