If City win it will break our record for consecutive victories in all competitions that currently sits at 8 (we equaled it against Palace). Probably means bad news for WBA.
does losing your whole striker force and captain not count?Didsbury Dave said:Ducado said:Ireland_for_pm said:Hart

For some reason just not confident about this match. Remember us drawing 0-0 on Boxing Day year we won the league first time. And maybe because lescott is playing.
Whilst over confidence in football is never a good thing, I would like to know why you and a couple of others are not confident or are fearing the worst?
Is it a defence mechanism, in order to nullify any possible disappointment? I am not taking the piss here either because we are are in fine form and WBA are not, so logic would dictate a good result is a strong possibility although anything is possible in football as we all know
Not with me, Ducado. My gut feel is more often positive than negative. There weren't many who felt we'd beat bayern and roma, but I was one.
I just have this sense that we are due a bit of bad luck. There's no real rational reason for it apart from the fact that we haven't had any to speak of for a month or so.
Don't get me wrong. If I was a betting man I wouldn't hesitate to bet on a City win because, even with all of our absences, if we played them 10 times we'd win 7, draw 2 and lose 1. I've just got a daft little gut feel it will be the one and we will get an unjust result.

Ball coming off of Wickham's shin lol. I see your point though. We're just one deflection away from things going pear-shaped. I just think the team will have enough for WBA. Even if they were to get a goal, this side has proven that they have the mental capacity to come back.Didsbury Dave said:NoahCity said:does losing your whole striker force and captain not count?Didsbury Dave said:Not with me, Ducado. If that was us going there yesterday, they would have played like real madrid.

A consummate performance by Chelski - they are certainly title contenders and City will do well to come out on top at the end of the season. Do not know why people on here do not give them the credit they deserve, they are world class and so is their manager.
