0-2

Milner and Yaya to score.

Will not be easy or that hard, I think the lads have the bit between their teeth and confidence prevalent throughout he side. They know that we cannot afford to slip up in these matches and 9 in a row matches a record, lots of reasons to be confident.

Merry Xmas fellow blues... May 2015 bring us all that we want (Especially in May) !!

Hope we give Joleyn a good reception. I'm going for 0-3 a clean sheet and some clinical finishing. Merry Christmas to all blues.

Guaranteed. Because in the main we are a classy bunch of supporters, unlike the vast majority of tossers at clubs like Arsenal who still boo Nasri 3 years after he left. The sad, embarrassing losers.

Merry Christmas all !

agreed. like gareth and in fairness jimmy he was crucial to our progress in reaching where we are now.

Looks like the game will be played in a blizzard with rain starting about 1:45 turning to sleet and then snow by the 2nd half - with maybe up to an inch of snow by the end of the game.

The hawthorns is the highest ground in the top 4 divisions of English football (551 feet above sea-level) so wrap up warm and record the position of your cars with your smartphones - coz you might not be able to see your car later on in the white out!

We've got a good record against the baggies, our last 9 league matches won 8 drawn 1.
I should point out that we occasionally get thumped in this fixture too! Not for a while now but it does happen.

I remember a game in the late 70s at the Hawthornes played in a blizzard,fa cup replay Joe Royle scored the winner.

We could do with Chelsea losing at lunchtime and us being a couple of goals up so we can have a chorus of 'Joleon Lescott, he'd be top of the league'....

I was there for that match ,it did snow some. We kept warm by chanting and singing though it was standing then. Never knew it was the highest ground.

i'm really interested in what team he puts out. i dont know why but i get a sneaky feeling he'll rest david.
In normal circumstances (ie, a striker or two available), that could well be the case. But he filled his role perfectly against Palace, so he probably will play today. Also, the fact that it's the first game in this hectic Christmas/New year period would be a factor as well (nearly a week since he last played). You could well see him rested against Burnley though.
