Team is out....

Caballero, Sagna, Boyata, Nastasic, Mangala, Kolarov, Lampard, Fernando, Demichelis, Nasri, Pozo.

Risky line up, bit worried now, 3 at the back?

I got halfway through a reply before my brain engaged itself and looked at the time. Very funny. :)

CITY: Hart, Sagna, Mangala, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernando, Toure (C), Navas, Silva, Nasri, Milner.

SUBS: Caballero, Boyata, Zabaleta, Fernandinho, Kolarov, Lampard, Jovetic.

Should have been strongest 11 then see who is still ok come Sunday, not like Burnley haven't got 2 games in 48 hours as well.

I agree that would include Zab and the other Fern. I reckon Sagna and Fernando should have played the home game, not the away game.

Same here

It's rotation for rotation's sake.

MP sees the full backs and Nando/Dinho as the easiest 3 to rotate to give a bit of fresh legs, I just don't agree.

x2

Sagna and Clichy don't offer much going forward and without a recognised striker we need options.

decent team, should be good enough to beat wba merlin to weave his magic again, 0-2

though note of caution boxing day does have a habit of throwing up some werid results

Thought you'd be too nervous to decide on any team ;-)

Sagna and Fernando are more suited for away games. They just can't play at the tempo at which we play at home

I'm not disagreeing with rotation of players, but it's much safer to do it at home rather than away. We lose a helluva lot without Zab driving down the right. We can get away with it at home.

Still Manuel knows best.
