We Are A Joke (UPDATE - Changed My Mind - No We're Not)

we should go for players who want to play for the club not come just for the money, they will then give 100% and not spit their dummy out when they don't get their own way.

The thing that did me in was waking up having no idea (fell asleep about 10 last nite) of anything, but waking up to see Kaka has fucked us off, which was supposedly partly cos Cook fucked up, which led to Robbie stropping off and seemed like after all the hope and expectation I'd woken up to a giant leap backwards. Readin what the yellow ticker at the bottom of SSN had to say as I woke up for work at 6.30 AM really did me in

Now I've thought about it, I wasn't 100% behind the Kaka transfer anyway, I believe Cook over any suspect italian politician, and if Robbie wants to strop then let him, we'll move on without him (although I stil think things will be sorted and Robbie will continue with us)
Now let's get Given and de Jong signed

Glad i read this (2nd post) as i was going to say the only TWO JOKES were Milan and 'the fat el hombre'.......so now Milan are the only joke.

Is anybody who slags cook actually over the age of 14 ???? He gets blamed for loads of shit including 'fucking up the Kaka deal' ....... the bloke worked with basketball players through nike that made buying Kaka like buying a bag of chips to him......so if you CAN'T BELIEVE what he says and accept we pulled out for the right reasons (but believe a politician!!).....you'd better buy the Mirror every day, believe every word, and treat it as your bible!

*second bit aimed generally...not at 'Fat el Hombre' ;)

We have not disgraced ourselves. We made our intentions clear and for over a week the deal was always a possibility. Kaka did not come out and say no, until the last minute when he was torn emotionally and was probably under some pressure to make a decision. The mutual loyalty of Kaka to Milan and the fans to him was too much for him to break.

as much as i wanted kaka would he be up for a midweek scrap at fratton park on a freezing night????? i think bellamy would!

Could be interesting when he plays against his former clubs (no pun intended).
