It would be nice to say "Chelsea winning it in style" but that's not the case, that's what makes our title defence so frustrating. Without doubt they've been the best team over the course of the season and I don't think we've got any God given right to win it every year but, just as in 2012/13, you can't help but feel (as defending champions) we've surrendered our title too easily.

Wouldn't say so! They have been the team that has maximised the points total. It is not an automatic qualification for being the 'best'!

They've only lost twice so congratulations to Chelsea as they've easily been the best team this season. We simply haven't been good enough, 7 defeats says it all. Its been a poor defence of the title.

Annoying that we have lost a couple of titles to teams that have just ground out results , the rags have got to be one of the poorest teams ever to win a premiership in 2013 , and the chavs probably the most boring , predictable team ever to win a title . But the blame lies at the managements door , when we win a title and the squad shows no hunger to retain it , then you bring hungry players into the squad , we have failed to do this. Vital that we get the 3 or 4 players we need , and its down to the hierarchy to get the signings right , after 2 or 3 seasons of sub standard recruitment of players
