We are NOT Man City..

It's a domain name, not a rebrand. The header still says "Manchester City". Regardless, mancity.com is much more reflective of who we are than 4 letters.

Man City is all over the YouTube channel no Manchester City and Nolito has signed for Man City

We're not Man City,
We tail away at the end.

#ManCity
#Amazeballs

I really couldn't believe how fast it was considering how much traffic was hammering it. People are just uncomfortable with it because it's based for multi-platforms and doesn't have the classic desktop old school layout.

The Twitter handle @ mancity @ mcfc . You can see why they would change it.

It makes perfect sense after the football club has been dropped. Get a grip people!
Id rather we put effort into a petition to get the club to do something about Sterlings bad press, like banning the sun from our club.

Just noticed that besides going from 'MCFC' to 'Man City' for the official home web address, the site domain of the official site has also changed from a UK domain to one registered in the US.

At the risk of sounding melodramatic, these broad strokes of rebranding: from the hideous new kit and the mildly dodgy new badge, to the club's internet presence, is rather unsettling.

It's a bit grim, frankly.
Is there anything about the club you actually like.

Can somebody tell me why we have dropped "Football Club" and FC from our badge etc? I remember when the scum did this and we roundly took the piss, but now we have done it not a peep...

I spoke to Vicky Kloss at the badge unveiling about why "football club" had been dropped from the badge. She explained that they wanted "Manchester City" to really stand out. We're Manchester City and proud of it etc. She also mentioned that when the badge appears in smaller print it looked too cluttered with football club, as the font had to be smaller. Vicky had a laptop with her and showed a mock up with "Manchester City Football Club" on the new badge and having initially been sceptical, when I saw it I did agree that it looks better the way it is.

The "Man City" thing is completely different though. To some extent it's fair enough to change the website to mancity.com, MCFC probably won't have the same impact on the global scale, that the club is trying to reach, not that it bothers me... but logging in to Facebook and Instagram and seeing the Nolito posts under the tagline "Man City" doesn't feel right. It's almost like it's a page set up by skysports or a neutral media outlet, not the club. Very strange. It reminds me too much of cockney united fans talking about "Man U". It'll always be Manchester City for me.

Totally disagree. We are Man City, or Manchester City. Can't say I'm that arsed.
Some people are, obviously. All about opinions...
