We can still win the league

It's not over by using the logic that we can achieve 91 points which would have been enough to win the league in every PL season bar one i believe.

However, thinking rationally, it's over.

No matter what the result we can gain from it, I just don't think even with a fit Kompany for the rest of the season we've got enough defensively to pass Chelsea.

Won't stop hoping until it's mathematically impossible. 0-0 bore draw would be fine. 2 sent off from each side and resultant Managerial meltdowns from K and C. Perfect.

I sense a momentum shift after the last performance, but I reckon we should realistically be expecting 2nd or 3rd- even with a good finish to the season. Chelsea just simply haven't given me enough evidence to feel like they could or would slip up at this stage.

Goals for the rest of the season should be:

- halving the number of goals conceded (16 in the last 16 games)
- Pep working on a plan b for when teams sit in on us and hit us on the break
- Champions league ambitions (No one team standing out this season)
- An FA cup win
- Developing a clear strategy for trimming the squad this summer and injecting some youth and competition into stagnant areas such as full back. Lots of players coming to the end of their contracts.
- A one year extension for Zaba and Yaya?
