I think to stand any chance of catching them, we need Chelsea to be losing games like tonight's. They'll be chuffed to bits with how things have gone. They've played away at Liverpool, not lost and still extended their lead at the top of the table. Though if we're being realistic and admit we probably won't win the league, you'd have to say tonight has been pretty good for us too. Now we need to do our bit tomorrow.

we most certainly would have to win at the bridge (put those points in the bank) along with a win tomo night so add those points today and we are 7 behind, not looked at goal average but i'd say we would need 8 points, if we could reduce that to 5 pts by mid/late feb then we have a chance

We need them to get a few crucial injuries - Kante, Costa, Hazard maybe
Of course we still can, but we'd almost certainly have to win at Stamford Bridge.
I just hope we can win our next 5 games, on paper it's a pretty achievable run of games, then we might be in a position to take advantage of any potential Chelsea slump.
