Saying that you think we can still win the league is basically saying that all of the problems that caused our current league position have been solved. I hope that's true, but I'm not willing to say that after a couple of wins against teams who, let's face it, we regularly beat. But I get why people might be more optimistic. Our shaky defence has had Kompany added to it (hopefully for longer than a week this time), our goal-shy attack has had one of the most exciting kids in world football added to it, and he's hit the ground running, and Pep has finally dropped a keeper who has seemingly failed to make a save since arriving. We look a lot stronger, but we would have to be pretty much unbeaten between now and the end of the season to do it, and still rely on Chelsea having some fairly indifferent form along the way. All the while trying to progress in the Champions League. It's possible, but it's a huge ask.
