We could do without FA Cup - Paul Lambert

if your a club like Aston Villa, not meaning them any disrespect, but they should be right up for it, the F.A cup is a chance to write your name in History, scraping 40 points in the league isn't.
 
Disgraceful comments by Lambert, supported by Fat Sam. These sort of managers have no place in the game. They are supposed to be leaders. What use are they if they give out such negative thoughts. We saw what happened with Stuart Pearce. Poor results in the Cup always spill over into League form. Villa fans deserve better. It's a club with a great Cup heritage. Lambert and Fat Sam's comments show contempt for all football fans. Joy and glory should always be the first target in any sport. Wallowing in self-pity gets you nowhere. People used to mock Keegan but he was spot-on when he said you have to set the bar high (even with our then limited resources) I would rather go with Pellegrini's comments yesterday: "I repeat. We want to win every match"
 
These comments are made by managers before round three starts every season. Why is Lambert any different? If you read the comments then you will realise that all he is saying is that the cup is getting in the way of his team that is trying hard to get relegated.

At least that's what I think he said as the Southampton manager speaks better English than him. He was probably misquoted and was actually saying he loves the F.A.Cup.

He's just minimising expectation, so that when they do get knocked out, which is hopefully sooner rather than later, he can say that he wasn't arsed about it anyway.
A bit like when you used to ask a girl out, and she knocked you back, so you say you weren't interested in the stuck-up bitch anyway, and went home and had a wank.
Not that this ever happened to me, you understand, (Becky Greenway you know who you are, you stuck-up bitch).
You ask him if he would fast-track to a day out at Wembley - he would snatch your hand off at the elbow.

Cnuts like LAMBERT AND FAT SAM are everything that's bad in domestic football , for me if as they say they'd rather concentrate and put all their effort into the premier league then if they're doing that why are they come May dancing around the trap fucking door ! LOOKS TO ME LIKE YOUR NOT FUCKING CONCENTRATING ON ANYTHING........................EXCEPT MAYBE GETTING THE LERNER SIZE FUCKING 10 !!!!!!!!!!!
 
Nobody is arm-twisted into the Cups. If a club doesn't want to enter, surely they just don't send the entry form back!

I think Sheff U and other teams would love A Villa to be in it, so Lambert's negativity will get onto the pitch.

In truth, it's the likes of Lambert that the FA Cup can do without.
