We get Mourinho, he fails, what then?

Cleavers, i agree with you, the owners made a decision to get rid of a manager mid season, I think they were talked into it by Cook, so now, they HAVE TO live by that decision, a controversial one, and give the new bloke time (and money),
if they sack the man that they chose, after only a few months, they will look very foolish indeed!

That is the problem, you have just turned yourself into a football expert, the same sort of thinking loses us manager after manager & this one will be gone very soon, you NEVER EVER sack a manager in January it just doesn't work.
This guy would i'm sure have preferred to have taken it after this season was over,he doesn't know the league,he doesn't know the players,he doesn't know the tactics other teams use & from his 1st press conference he has been on the back foot with the press.
I'd mention zonal marking but i couldn't be arsed.
I'm just hoping the fall out with Kidd is over & we can kick on.
The knives are already out for the next one ffs.

Not sure what you mean bluemanc, its only an opinion, the number and cost of those brought in should (but didn't) have ensured we had more than enough players, so for me the signings weren't good enough (proved under both managers now for me).

Question for you, what fall out with Kidd ? I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, so rather than hint at something, please tell us all what you mean.

Oh by the way, zonal marking is common to both managers, but under this one the stats suggest its better.
We spent that amount of money for one reason & one reason only, our owner decided it was prudent to release to the media that we would buy the best players in the world & pay them double whatever money they are on.
It is our owners that have caused the problem of other clubs holding us to ransom.
The money means nothing not a single thing,we will never ever get value for money unless a club is really struggling for cash.
the stats suggest its better
WOW!Stats, you are now going down the road of stats for zonal marking,"Shay will come for the throw ins"that is the quote from mancini how when you zonal mark a delap throw in it is dealt with, that's not a guess that's what he said & that is what he expects from his system.
Shay will come for the crosses & collect the ball now that would be an interesting stat, how many crosses has Shay taken cleanly from a throw in or corner.
Someone needs to tell Lescott we zonal mark he was going fuckin berserk.

OK whatever, no idea what you're getting at then.

You never answered my question though, about Kidd, what fall out, I'm sure many would be interested to know.

it's funny that people think that Mourinho would make the team any more attacking, or flowing, or enjoyable to watch. In fact, until they bought Sneijder this season they were one of the dullest, flattest, most defensive sides i've ever seen.. they made Stoke look like 1970 Brazil. What Mourinho has is force of personality, the one thing that Mancini seems to be lacking for me. Hopefully as his English improves he'll be able to express himself more, but at the moment he's more Sven than Jose

He only goes to winners, we're not one, he'll come here (if and) when we are not before.

want's to come england, his quotations and the way he's been talking surely only means us, unless united have 300mill going spare they will be spending?

he said he want's to build an empire and create history, we have no history?

he loves challenges, coming to us is a challenge he's never had before, creating history and starting from scratch, turning us into an established top 4 club, Chelsea were already there when he joined so job was already done, were different, only us i could honestly see him coming to, the scum have no money, neither the dippers, won't go arsenal and definitely won't be going back to Chelsea.

owners will be working on him for the summer, contact will be will, infact contact has been made.
