"We Hate You, City, We Do!"

No one liked us in the '70's.

I didn't give a toss then, and I care even less now.

Some knob from the midlands doesn't like us?

Who cares.

I don't.

I don't think they do.

Forget the keyboard warriors on sites such as this, I've never met any hostility in the real world.

Just my opinion, but I haven't noticed much change.

I wouldn't be bothered if they were baying for my blood on here or any other forum, because it bears no resemblance to life. When I tell strangers I am a City fan, face to face, I have never had a problem, just like I don't have a problem with someone telling me they support Sheffield Wednesday.

Real life has it's good side, unlike the stuff posted on here and in other forums.

Couldn't care less; when I growing up all I got were patronising comments and gloating from morons.

Wear the badge and wear it with pride!

It used to bother me a little but now I couldn't give a monkeys what people think. In fact the more I think about last night's performance the prouder I feel about Mancini and his players. It's time for us to create a seige mentality and really back the club like youve never done before because we beginning to build more enemies each week.

It used to bother me too but, overtime I've become quite accustomed to it. If this is the byproduct of doing well then, so be it. So what if they hate us, boo hoo and more fool them. It is getting very very boring hearing money bags this, boring football that and 34 years. Even the floating fans are getting bored of reading the same old City cliches.

Yes the fans had a soft spot for us because they could come to Maine Road and City of Manchester Stadium or we go to there place and they would get the three points and we'd joke about it in the stands. Now that we are winning and sometimes playing defensive football to get a point etc people hate us, even though they have done it time and time before against us.
But because it was televised on Sky everyone seen it and then they phone in saying 'I want to watch attacking football' if you don't want to see us play for the draw take a trip to your team that you support and watch them you plastic lot, Mancini ain't gonna change his game plan or team talk because the Sky Sports cameras are on.

People at work (who are Bolton fans mostly) have defended City knowing we had a few big names out n Arsenal in form and they actually put up a good case n like city to break into the Sky Sports Top 4. ;) even a rag at work has said the same.

I cant wait for the next game when were 3 or 4 up and the fans ram "boring boring City" down the throat of our haters!!!i

mancini knows the strength/threat of the opposition , a mark of a great manager , a draw is a decent result at arsenal , no matter how we achieve it , i would also take 0-0 draws at the swamp and the chavs , right now. In a couple of seasons we will be going to the emirates and taking the piss out of them , and wenger will still be cultivating his youngsters , (like he has for the past 10 years) , when we are winning trophies.
