From me a big no to Henry. 32 and well past his best. Those thinking of iniesta are living in cloud cuckoo land.

cloud cuckoo land idea from me - 100M + Robbie for Messi

I want some of what you are having mate.

i wish though

Can you imagine Henry's 1st day at Carrington being introduced to the team????

"This is Craig Bellamy..."

"This is Benjani..."

"This is Shay Given..."

"Why are you on the floor with a nose bleed?"

Very interesting. Whilst Henry would be useful in the very short term (until Ade is back) he would not be a good signing. Too old.

I My guess is Yaya Toure + cash for Robinho.

But as someone said, why Vieira?

Lol

Could be Henry, although im of the opinion that he is past his best, Italians dont seem to see age as a barrier, in serie A the best teams are littered with players that are 32+, and Ancelotti has extended Ballacks contract at the age of 33, and got Deco also 33 playing more often. If it is Henry I cant wait too see the welcome party he receives of Shay. Im hoping it could be 1 of Barcelonas fringe stars, ala Bojan, or that kiddie that comes on and scores every week, cant remember his name now, but either of those 2 would be a like for like for Robinho. Having said that Yaya would also please me.

dressing room influence? translator and explainer of the finer points of mancini's methods. experienced enough to tell mancini a thing or two about the prem (by all accounts he's destined for coaching). spy and political/morale officer. cool experienced head, setter of standards, knocker-together of heads, advisor and mentor? 'when we went 30 games unbeaten......'.

also, we've lost kompany and zab as back up midfielders, they have to be available for defensive duties. i'd say with them providing emergency cover, we just about have enough cover to play 442... but mancini is well known for playing three more or less central midfielders from time to time. think it would have worked yesterday. yaya can also play much further forward. he's bit of a schemer. maybe he or viera could even fit in at centre-half.
