i don't think it's anything to do with overprotection of him, he is that important to us he is missed

to say a thread justifies a loss based on him not being in the team is surely an insult to the great man?

Missed him big time, really important player for us. Both goals could have been prevented had he been on as he helps the full backs out a lot. It's a shame we miss a defensive midfielder though when we're at home.
