we need a new stadium...

The German stadiums are not a good example. I went to schalke, frankfurt and Hamburg last seaon and the stadiums are almost exactly the same design. Ground is situated in parks away from the town centre with no attachment to local community. My idea of hell personally.

I don't think we need a new stadium. In my opinion everyone is used to sitting with who they're used to sitting with if they're season ticket holders so the atmosphere would suffer if we moved so soon after our last one. The other thing you'd have to take into consideration is travel and potential drops in numbers if it is too far away for some people. I don't know, I just do not think it's a good idea personally. I'm happy where we are. I think our current stadium could be developed.

I don't give a toss whether the stadium is in the design classic top ten.

As long as we are doing the business on the pitch

i'd much rather, spend the money on some more superstars, acadamy and scouting set up, than move to a 60,000 + seater stadium that we won't fill. imho it would be more beneficial to throw another tier behind the goals.

if we move into the newest, largest most state of the art stadium it STILL won't be maine rd. so let's just stick with it and get some silverware in the cupboard first!

It would be kind of funny after all the time it's taken to put the metrolink in is we moved right when it opened!
The MetroLink - don't be silly - not good enough for us - Tolmie will be insisting on a Bullet Train - apparently there are some very good tax advantages !!
