We need to play a strong side vs Wigan

Need to play a very strong team. Wigan are full of confidence also, as undefeated this year and only 1 conceeded in 3 games.
Cant afford any slip ups due to over confidence. No point winning at Spurs and not following up by slipping up v Wigan.
Can change 1 or 2 but wouldnt make sweeping changes, disprupting the side

Isn't it now impossible for us not to play a strong side?

It's not like we were under Frank Clark when I always used to take my Boots to Maine Rd; - "just in case".

I'd love to watch the same team that demolished the spuds last week.
Really can't wait for this 1.

We haven't got any weak players in the squad now so the team will always be strong in all competitions.

I would expect Milner,Johnson and balotelli to be starting

We're not good enough to rest players yet. We need a strong side every single league game, and once we've won the damn thing we can have the luxury of resting players, as the fear factor will hit with teams - and we'll have that thing that the Rags have - that thing when you never expect them to drop points against teams below the top four (I know they do every now adn then, but you don't expect it).

I'm thinking Dzeko will start due to his form, but i'm also thinking Balotelli will start? he's not played a single minute of the premier league yet.

I think we will see a start for tevez and only one of silva or nasri playing with balotelli coming in for whichever doesn't play

If Mario is gonna be our main man in the Champions League games then he needs some minutes on the pitch this Saturday. It'll also show Bobby how focused Mario is, If he gets his IPad out while we are defending a corner then he's dropped for Napoli.
What on earth gave you that idea, allan?
His position right now is where he deserves to be in this squad. On the bench.
Until he grows up, mans up and learns a lesson from the likes of Edin about the level of performance and application required, then he is more likely to be our main man in the Carling Cup than the Champions League
