We score when we want to - what's that all about?

"That's why we're champions" was being sung after going one nil up.

Did anybody hear Southampton sing "that's why we're premier league" after we went behind? Great reply by them to be fair, and luckily we pulled it back, but a chant like that will properly bite us on the arse one day.

Hell for too many years we were the but of all the jokes, remember when we had 10 managers on 9 months (or what ever the figure was) we were beaten at home by Bury and a national newspaper showed a picture of our crowd compared to the rags bunch of morons piled into the swamp, now fans that suffered through all that just want to enjoy themselves and have a bit of a laugh and someone has a go at them, come on cut some slack.
Why do the Poznan? all that happens is the opposition fans mimick it when they score. In fact perhaps we should not celebrate any goal just in case the opposition score 2 and then sing 'your not singing anymore'. I know lets all sit in silence until the end of the match so that we don't stand a chance of anyone doing anything remotely 'cringeworthy' and at the end we can give a polite round of applause so the opposition fans don't think we are being big headed or cocky.
well you did ask for comments !
 
The best thing would be to cheer the opposition team, then at the end have three cheers for the away team and fans, then we would show no arrogance at all, and become little old city everyone's favourite second team , let us never celebrate winning the league or fa cup. And if any of you do you are arrogant bastards

You should re-read your words mate - the arrogance makes you sound just like a rag. Bet you were in full voice with those words when the saints popped the ball in weren't you?

We Have the capability within the side of scoring more goals than the opposition! That is another way of looking @ the chant! Think possitive not Negative about our Beloved Blues! We're Man City & we'll Score When We Want :)
