Is it just me, or are others thinking this is sounding too arrogant ?
It's a great one to throw back at the scum but in any other game, especially when two goals came from penalties I can see it pissing people off.
Do we really wanna be seen in the same light as some of the other arrogant twunts around ?
I'm really disapponted and very embarrassed that we've adopted this fucking shit chant! I'm actually gutted!

Hate it, find it depressing to hear the whole ground singing it.

It ain't going anywhere that's for sure.

Is this statement not contradictory?

Surely if it isn't going anywhere then it wouldn't be sang?

As for the song itself, who gives a fuck? Too many precious people on this site worrying over what others may think what we sing. No doubt they are happy for the opposition to sling shite like the braindead geordie maggots did yesterday and just accept it?

People take the songs too literally....i'm gonna suprise you here, Colin Bell was never a king but we still sang it about him. Did that make blues arrogant for thinking one of their own was going to be the future monarch?

No doubt the Puritans on here will find some other subliminal messages amongst the other songs that are sang!!!

I can feel the them now reading this thinking 'Burn the heretic'
I think I know I'm right when I see someone who supports the chant uses the cheesiest/cringiest/worst word in the English language.

Plus it's got nowt to do with taking songs too literally; it's about looking and sounding like a bunch of cunts! and there's nowt anyone will babble on about like you have that'll change my mind about everyone singing that chant sound like a bunch of cunts.

However, the song isn't going away anytime soon. I'll just have to try and ignore it.

And you're sounding like a **** right now Mr Precious...boo fucking hoo.

-- Sun Nov 20, 2011 9:16 am --

The "Song Police" out in force again

They'll be giving out song sheets soon just so we know what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable to sing. That's after they've lectured us all on where to sit and where the away fans should go.

Why is it arrogant. How many years have teams took the piss out of us etc..

Fuck the lot of them. The majority of the ground sang this yesterday and I fucking loved it. I think its slowly replacing the poz.

I like it.

People need to stop worrying about being thought of as 'good old, self deprecating, have a laugh at themselves City fans'.

There's not much to laugh at any more.

42 league goals, cheer up FFS

When I said, "It ain't going anywhere" I meant every fucker sings it now, odor is here to stay, so no it isn't contradictory.

The reason it depresses me is it is United's cuntiest of all songs, the worst, the pits. A month or two ago I thought we would NEVER sing something like that now everyone does. It would be the same if we started singing Build a fucking Bonfire, it's just a shit Rag song which I hate. If that makes me chief constable of this song police that everyone is talking a out then so be it, that's my opinion and I won't be changing it.

Now the two 6-1 songs I do love. Am I allowed to say that?
