WE WERE BRILLAINT AGAINST VILLA!

Probably the best performance I have seen from City this season. The whole of the team was dedicated and was getting stuck in which was brilliant to see and some great football at the same time.

Dunne was awesome tonight, Zab sorted Young all night and didn't give him a sniff, best game Bridge has had for us so far, Kompany totally controlled midfield.

And Wright-Phillips was fucking brilliant, took it upon himself to be the main man tonight due to the obvious absentees. Great creativity and the Shaun we all love.

And the atmosphere also was brilliant, fans were top class and was a great night.

Lets push on from here some, tough games coming up but if we play like that then I think we can pick some away points up for a change.

COME ON CITY!

We did play well didn't we, great to see but most clubs won't give us the space that Villa did tonight.

Even Gelson :)

I think his injury took about 100mph off his speed...still gets around but seemed to make more intelligent runs instead of having headless chicken syndrome. His passing was even a little more direct than being backwards and sideways everytime. Nice comeback Gelson.

Great result, villa gave us no space we earned it, top team away arent they?

That'swhat I meant to write. Am a little tipsy :)

have to agree. Was an excellent game all round. First half we were by far the better team. Showed great strength going forward and were creative. SWP had a fantastic half let alone game.
We could easily have been more in front by half time. But Friedal is a class keeper as he showed throughout the night.

second half Villa came back as well. Had much of the early possesion and made it a good tie. Our defence was tested a bit but were on top form.
Substitutions worked well ad I was impressed with Cheds commitment and skill.

Great 1-2 for SWP with Ireland for a cracking finish from a well deserved MoM. And again if it weren't for Friedal could easily have been more.

Can't fault much tonight. Well done the boys

We did earn it but Villa stood off us in that first half.
We struggle when teams get amongst us, hence the problem in away games.
Terrific result though
