We won't make fourth

It really annoys me, for once we have a chance at cracking the big time for the 1st time in a long time, and there are people who call other blues glory hunters for being a tad ambitious, :@

Aston Villa winning and Spurs winning has knocked the stuffing out us really and reduced morale significantly. I just don't think we will get fourth personally. I think Aston Villa or Spurs will take it. I hope to god Liverpool don't otherwise all our efforts will be in vain.

Not knocked the stuffing out of me and my morale is sky high. One look at the table this morning still tells me it's in our hands to grab 4th. I haven't given up for 30 odd years and i'm not gonna start now.

COME ON CITY...

And the Fulham game is NOT make or break (although I beleive that we will get something from that game).
We could lose 3 more games and STILL make 4th (7 x 3 = 21, 21 + 50 = 71).
More likely, we could lose 1. draw 3 , win 5 and still make 4th.

Nevertheless, Fulham is a bigger game than most people think. Before the last game, I would say to keep up there we would need at least 4 points from the Sunderland and Fulham games.

Yes, we could lose 3 more games and still make 4th but there are more difficult fixtures left that makes it ok not to win at Fulham.

If Liverpool win at United (anything's possible) and we lose at Fulham, then we are 4 points behind them and then we HAVE to win both games in hand.

Against Spurs and Everton it's not easy.

Make no mistake, this is a big game for us.

Liverpool are going to find it extremely difficult to get 4th if they don't get anything at Old Trafford on Sunday. After Sundays game they'll only have 7 games left and could be 6 points behind Spurs who will have a game in hand, could be 2 behind us and Villa with us both having two games in hand. Every game now is key because it's so close

This weekend Villa have Wolves at home, Spurs have Stoke away, Liverpool have United away and we have Fulham away. I expect Liverpool to get beat, Spurs to draw, Villa to win and us to draw which will give Villa the upperhand however football is never that easy

Win at Fulham on Sunday and i'll be extremely confident of getting 4th

A draw an Fulham would be a good result, then we have a decent 3 game run 2 @ home and Burnley away before the rags and Arsenal. We have been at our best against the top 4 so we should get some points out of these 2 games.
If we can beat Everton, Wigan and Burnley then we will be right up there for the run in.
Knowing City though we will loose to Burnley then beat the Rags and Arsenal.

Totally disagree, its half full mate.

We got a good point and a spectacular injury time equaliser, which will give AJ for one a huge lift.
The boys are scrapping till the 94th minute to get something out of a game a sign of real desire and is often spoke about what makes other sides winners.

Its positive signs we are in the mix.

Agree with this post.

The next 3 games for us are absolutely vital. Before even playing Spurs and Villa.

And you have no idea how good it feels that we can now score late, late goals.

Has anyone got a copy of the league table when Hughes was sacked? I'd be interested to see something.
