We won't make fourth

Has anyone got a copy of the league table when Hughes was sacked? I'd be interested to see something.

Not on me but I'm pretty sure we weren't 2 points off 4th with a game in hand...

We were 6 points of 4th with a game in hand, probably upset Masterwig as we all know he loved Hughes and doesn't like Mancini

So 4 points better off. Excellent.

Yeah we have gained on Villa and Spurs but lost slightly on Liverpool since then. That is better than I thought actually, for some reason I thought Villa had been gaining on us.

We really need to win at Fulham to keep the pressure on. There is always the chance we could slip up in a home game so we can't be assuming we'll get maximum points at home. I think we need to win two away games before the end of the season to have a chance at 4th.

we will not make it. With 50% goals now from set pieces this rules us out and I am afraid it will be Given's inability to deal with corners long throws and curling free kicks ino the box which will be our downfall.

Not upset me at all. Good to see our position improving. Let's hope that at the end of the season we are all looking back saying what a good job Mancini has done even if I can't fathom what he is thinking half the time and disagree with his selections and tactics.

My money's on us - keep the faith!

Spurs have to come to us and also have to play the top 3 in consecutive games, which I suspect will be their downfall. Still in the cup as well, which will be a distraction.

Liverpool are poor away from home and not too convincing at Anfield. They'll drop plenty more points, starting at the swamp on Sunday.

Villa are a strong side, with one of the players of the season in Milner. They're unbeaten this year so doing well results wise, without outplaying anyone. They too have to come to us and are also still in the cup.

If we maintain our home form, particularly against Spurs and Villa, 4th will be ours I tell ya, without needing too much away from home.
