Was that Fred ?This, a friend worked for Met Office, and said after 48hrs it's all 'best guess' ....and wouldn't rely on an accurate forecast for the same day....unless it says sunny in the Sahara.

Going on holiday in 20 days and the weather says it’s Going to be raining a lot. How accurate is the weather forecast that far in advance.
It’s Spain
Or “Have you turned your heating off yet”.Shouldn't this be in the "Have you put your heating on yet" thread ?
Climate change models predicted the U.K. to get colder and wetter.Global warming my arse, bloody weather is abysmal.
Fucking Arabs!Climate change models predicted the U.K. to get colder and wetter.
It’s to do with the movement of the Gulf Stream.
Where’s it gone?Climate change models predicted the U.K. to get colder and wetter.

It moves all the time, but there are indications that it is weakening and could even cease.Where’s it gone?
Very interesting thanks for that.It moves all the time, but there are indications that it is weakening and could even cease.
In the long run, that’d mean much colder and wetter winters but hotter summers, with extremes in both directions.
Like all weather related forecasts, there are different models that suggest different things.
It does feel like early March at the moment.Very interesting thanks for that.
P.S. Just put my central heating back on I was perished.
And less than 48hrs the flip of a coin. Unless there is a large high pressure system sat over Scandinavian you can almost be certain the weather will be changeable to shit in the UK.This, a friend worked for Met Office, and said after 48hrs it's all 'best guess' ....and wouldn't rely on an accurate forecast for the same day....unless it says sunny in the Sahara.
Was a year ago but you was rightit will be a rubbish forecast don't worry about it
