This, a friend worked for Met Office, and said after 48hrs it's all 'best guess' ....and wouldn't rely on an accurate forecast for the same day....unless it says sunny in the Sahara.

And less than 48hrs the flip of a coin. Unless there is a large high pressure system sat over Scandinavian you can almost be certain the weather will be changeable to shit in the UK.

Weather here is pretty easy to predict.

Summer = 30C with plenty of rain (lots of rain and when it rains, it rains).

Winter is nearly always like this;
