I'm in the same boat, booked a train and hotel to Newcastle for the 16th August, will be ok if its a Sunday kick off but if they make it a Monday night like the first game last season Im fucked, had to take a punt though to get the cheap deals.. !

I think sky like to have the champions on first game so I think this will be 5:30pm Saturday.

Hope your right about the Saturday kick off......I'm too old to walk to Newcastle Bill but I understand that because of this I am not a real City fan ;-((

my mate's missus is in the merseyside police and has found out the following

soton 1st day 1.30pm on the sunday
villa 13th sept 5.30pm
everton 27th sept 12.45pm
chelsea 8th nov 12.45pm

i reckon we are a shoe in for the 4pm sunday v toon army

my mate's missus is in the merseyside police and has found out the following
