Been to a coupe of weddings there and had a good time.

I've done a few there too but it's super expensive

Didn't read the bit about the price needing to be low sorry.

On the other end of the scale i have been to wedding receptions at the working men's near me Greg Street Working Men's cub. Think there is a City Supporters club there too so maybe get discount??

Lol.

Most of the weddings I've Done have been at Peckforton Castle, very lovely venue but dearer than the monastery lol

I always, always love the white hart though and it's brilliant if you are working on a budget.

Any recommendations? Ceremony and reception can be separate venue's but preferably the same. Thanks in advance.
Try mumsmet if you want to find a nice place rather than one that simply has cheap beer. ;-)

I had my wedding at The Last Drop Village,

I can't fault the venue, staff and the food was lovely. We had the wedding on the Fridat too to keep the costs down.
When you choose the menu they invite you down to taste the food which is a nice touch.

We had ours at Dukinfield Town Hall. They could not have looked after us better. The food was amazing for the price we paid.

Castlefield Rooms at Dukes 92.

We had an evening ceremony and a huge party, an indie covers bad, kids doing knee slides, snacky food on the hoof, dad dancing and everything - even Mrs This! turned up...

the white hart in lydgate is lovely.

i went to a wedding at alberts / dukes last year and it was fabulous. much better than i expected and great for being city centre but not in the city centre.

next time i get married it would be between either of those or etihad obviously!

Never been married, not sure I ever will. Don't get me wrong I love the idea or the dress and the big day but don't think I ever will
