haven't seen alot wrong. they lack quality when finishing but thats about it. they are physical but have to be.

If they want to promote fair play and the likes, they need to stamp this shit out.

If confronted with that at a hearing for the FA what could he say ? fuck all thats what, a 4 match ban should make the divers think twice.

Think it's a slippery slope though.

With the speed of the game footballers can very easily lose balance and go down under no contact in what might look like a dive. How do you make sure you're not banning somebody for 4 games for falling over? Not only that, sometimes they jump out of the way to avoid injury.

Not saying that's the case here, just talking generally.

I agree it could get messy like that, but i think its pretty simple, get someone like Sir Trevor Brooking to have a quick glance, thats all it needs. You can tell if there is intention to dupe the ref. If they are seen going down cynically near an opponant, ban em.
He gives the nod or a shake of the head and its done.

With regards to the ugly mugs stakes, Pennant makes me look away from the screen when they show his train wreck of a face, ugly as sin.
