Weiss Moves To Pescara

Really? If they failed to thrive with players like Suarez and Gerrard (who has admittedly declined) then how would they benefit from Craig Gardner and Danny Guthrie?

But they thrived at Villa and Sunderland before joining Liverpool so that is logic doesn't always work.

Milan may not be what they were but they are much better than the dregs of the Premier League and qualified for the next round of the Champions League ahead of a Zenit side that spent £65million on two players (Hulk and Witsel) in September.

Weiss is good enough for some Premier League clubs, there are 20 teams in this league and surely you aren't going to argue they're all better than AC Milan?

Milan's situation differs greatly from that of many Premier League clubs. I actually think he could do a job for a bottom-half club over here, but I just think Milan are sinking low on this occasion.

The same Milan that have signed the likes of Oguchi Onyewu in the past? Milan have declined, it's like Liverpool spunking £20m on Downing and Henderson. Are those two good enough for Sunderland or Reading?
yes

Some people must rate Downing and Henderson as liverpool spent just under 40 million on the two I never rated either of them that highly but the scouts who watched them weekly must seen enough to justify spending the amount they did, they also have quite a few international caps at u21 and senior level.

Carroll £35m, mega scouting...

Weiss has been brilliant this season having been given the licence to actually play and given more time with the ball.
Kevin prince boateng looked like a stinker at spurs and was just half decent at portsmouth..now hes quality.

Weiss is a good player, definitely Premieship standard.

Honestly, I don't know why we sold Weiss and brought in Sinclair, they are at a very similar level.

Weiss would walk into the team of the likes of Reading and Aston Villa.

Have you ever seen Vlad play, live, at an actual game ? Something tells me , maybe not.

Not seen much of him recently, but the impression i always got was that he just didn't work enough off the ball.

He has talent, but he just didn't seem to understand that to really influence a game consistently, you have to actually move around a bit rather than standing, waiting for the ball.

Weiss is nowhere near Premier League standard, absolutely nowhere near.

So he's good enough for AC Milan but not Sunderland or Reading then?

Onyewu was the one of best CBs at the confederations cup that year. Can we not say similar here like, "the same city that bought Scott Sinclair".

No because we were not trying to replace someone like Robinho. We replaced a sub for a sub
