There was this crazy, but very fast, cyclist. Abdoujaparov. The Tashkent Terror.I now know two people from Uzbekistan.
Boris the Blade and this lad.
45 I think
A word that wouldn’t be out of place on Sports Desk with Alan PartridgeWe need a CD as ours are too often injured. Stones and Ake are that often injured one can’t rely on them. Being fit is simply one of the requirements a top sporter needs.
As for Khusanov, I didn’t know him. Video’s show he’s quick and strong, yet makes loads of sliding tackles that sometimes seems a bit rash. Let’s hope he doesn’t get booked too often as unfortunately diving has become a habit in the PL.
All the best to the young lad. Make us City fans proud!
Wasnt that Balotelli's?
Yep, but his lifelong idol is Micah Richards.Wasnt that Balotelli's?
So I've just watched a highlight reel of him and he already looks a beast of a man, how come all our 20 year old academy graduates look like children in comparison
Availability is the best ability!!?? :0)A word that wouldn’t be out of place on Sports Desk with Alan Partridge
Thats a coincidenceYep, but his lifelong idol is Micah Richards.
A very exciting signing, a complete leftfield, unknown and he looks a proper character, going to be fun this one.A lad for the future, possibly a young Ruben who loves the physicality of defending.
Possibilty of a few 'familiarity' minutes in 'won' games.
A good no nonsense,
' ruff em oop, no quarter given ' , type of player in the Vincent, Zabba mold, wont go amiss.
Good luck lad.
These interviews could be 2 minutes long. But I guess it's all content these days.FFS City get a decent interviewer , a kid that can't speak the language and he was still pissed that it was asked 500 times the same question.
They could and should be far better, embarrassing asking the same question 10 times and making the player feel and look so uncomfortable. These interviews could be 2 minutes long. But I guess it's all content these days.
There is a reason why Samba described Khusanov as a "monster", Lens manager Will Still dubbed him a "tank", and why back home he has earned the nickname The Train.
