Just social media banter. Mendy tweeted "bullet header" when the own goal happened. Gerrard said it was a cheap shot and disgraceful. Some guy called Niall Mcgrath didn't like it and had a go at mendy. Mendy responded and said "thats called humor U should try it sometimes". Niall got mad and said something completely random about Monaco beating City last season and mendy buried him by saying " that's totally irrelevant lol"

Social media is a new addition to the game, and a growing one at that. For years fans have been complaining about the divide between fans and players. Social media is allowing us to bridge that gap, and dinosaurs like you can't get your head around it.

I think it's fantastic what Mendy and Batshuayi are doing. In fact, it's just the start of it. The digital world changes daily. You'd better get used to it or learn to ignore it.
