There is a brilliant article in the Guardian but it is not online. Written by by an overseas journalist who obviously knows the Monaco players. He sounds like a really grounded guy who was loved by his team mates. They nick named him bubblegum because the ball was stuck to his feet, and also compared him to an elf because of his ears.

Watching him play football, what a left foot. Yesterday I commented that he reminded me of Georgi Kinkladze. He really does. We need to remember that the French League isn't so strong but he still played a fantastic game against City. How could this player play for Mourinho? He is a fantastic footballer. Next season is going to be great.
 
I hope he is a great signing and from what I have read he seems a decent player. I emphasis "read" cos only seen him play twice. What I don't know is how these people on here know so much about how fantastic he is?!? Do you all watch French football week in and week out (is it even on). Look forward to us signing a prospect from Bolivia who has been playing for Real Potosi and everyone says what a great player he will be (I googled that team - obviously never heard of them)...

This is what puzzles me too about many of the names that I see as either targets or acquisitions. There is that much football on nowadays with the premier league and La Liga I can only surmise that many of the younger posters get their information from the latest FIFA game. Silva was excellent against us so I know what he can do but like you know very little about him or our other targets.
Walker and Rose are two that I can base an opinion on because I have seen them play many times.

a lot of people on here use their experience with fifa17 .
