Random signing. Like a few others over the last season or so. It’s difficult to see a shape to our best team. I can’t see that he will improve us that much.

Good luck to him anyway.

Been skeptical throughout but its done now so I get fully behind it and see with intrigue how we adapt.

As an aside, City claim he is 6ft 5 so we get an answer to Traffords height soon enough when we see pictures of them training together, I'm still not having Trafford as 6ft 6.

It's surely unlikely he starts the derby, might not even have a training session with us before it, maybe Napoli or potentially Arsenal, either way its a baptism of fire debut.

Completely random to sign a top class keeper to replace the top class keeper that has left, and has wanted to leave for 2 years.

Laughable that you don't think he improves us much.

He's one of the best keepers in world. He'll improve the team.

Put it this way, would you rather have Trafford and Ortega as our keepers or Donnarumma and Trafford?

It's a no brainer.

As a striker he's got to be intimidating to go against he's massive in goal. Didn't realise how big he is.

Not so sure it is that random. If Ederson wanted out then we needed a replacement keeper regardless.

People asking why we have signed this guy, hopefully he turns out to be an excellent signing. He is one of the world's best in his position, he is a statement signing. Rodri was clearly questioning the quality at City post Brighton match and this is part of our response. Hopefully, we are saying...no more players with potential, we are going back to signing established, world class players and it is a sign of the direction we will be taking in the next few years to get us back to where we have been.
A statement from the Board to Rodri and Haaland, stick around as we are now planning big again
People asking why really are clueless. Simple as that.
