Anyone on here know who Wayne Gretzky is?Will wear 99 on the back of his shirt. The game's gone.
Clearly a big fan of Dickov's goal against Gillingham - but that doesn't sit right with me
Here’s a ridiculous stat. He’s undefeated in penalty shootouts he’s never lost one.
Yeah right, as soon as he misplaces a pass you'd be on here with the rest of the "told you so mob" lighting torches and brandishing your pitchfork.I too welcome Gigi and hope that he succeeds.
Did you not watch the game on Sunday, after the penalty we had no possession because Trafford was kicking it long & it was coming straight back100% agree.
Trafford fits our system - very capable on the ball and an excellent shot stopper. He fits our system.
But now we've signed Donnarumma who is average on the ball, and is, on his day, the best or second best at stopping goals.
Reminds me of the Yaya and Dinho deals. Experienced players who can hit the ground running and make an invaluable contribution for about 4 or 5 years before burning out. We need more of these type of dealsComing into his peak, 10 years experience under his belt, won everything plus a number of individual awards, fucking quality at keeping the ball out of the net and excellent at saving penalties.
26m for him, is outrageous business by Viana.
With him and the very promising Trafford we are boxed off at goalkeeper for years. Trafford will learn a lot from him.
Not so.Yeah right, as soon as he misplaces a pass you'd be on here with the rest of the "told you so mob" lighting torches and brandishing your pitchfork.
Just put that muppet on Ignore like I did months and months ago palI’m not arguing with someone who believes in eugenics.
Joe Hart didn’t want to learn.
We’ve signed the best goalkeeper in the world. United have signed the equivalent of Andy Dibble. And you’re whining like a little bitch. Grow up.
The few times I have watched him he's made some amazing saves. Until Pep changes from defending with a high line, I'm concerned that he'll be exposed as any goalkeeper would be, but hopefully his shot stopping will negate some of the sloppy goals we give awayHe seemed to be ok at it for PSG? Whereas for Trafford there’s absolutely no evidence yet he can play with his feet at the top level.
Donnarumma isn’t Ederson (no keeper is!) but stats show that he’s at least Allison level with his feet - and no one here would say no to Allison.
Not only that but Donnarumma is a better goalkeeper around than most as well. Even better than Allison at shot stopping.
I don’t know - maybe you’d rather we put Rico Lewis in goal? He’s a decent passer after all.
Yes, his long kicking was pretty poor, aimless and only went to the opposition most of the time ..... but his game in general was very good, two or three top saves, and his handling of the ball was fine.Did you not watch the game on Sunday, after the penalty we had no possession because Trafford was kicking it long & it was coming straight back
Well yes, but that's another story, and one that Pep for some reason isn't dealing with.Sorry but this signing is not exciting me at all.
We need a bloody right back.
