May take a bit of time though, to build an understanding and adapt. Always noticed how much more unsettled the central defenders were when Ortega came in, expecting him to do Ederson things.A very sound goalkeeper has a positive impact on the defenders ahead of him. Hopefully his arrival prompts a revival in Dias back to his very best.

Absolutely thisIf I never read a post with the word "feet" in it again that day can't come quick enough !!!!
Scored against Derby then went in net and saved a penalty.I have wondered about this. Sometimes a player as a kid is a striker and then somebody spots they might be a better midfielder (or vice versa) was Ederson an outfield player in youth football and then somehow converted to goalkeeper? Does anyone know.
Maybe more players could do it, for example a tall striker who gets the wrong side of 30 instead of retiring might try to become a goalie and play many more years than had they stayed upfront!
I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves it when the keeper gets sent off, all the subs have been made so one of the outfield players gets thrown a pair of gloves but sadly it doesn't really happen anymore what with all the subs that are allowed.
Didn't Niall Quinn save a penalty v Liverpool in such circumstances back in the 90s?
What about plates of meat?If I never read a post with the word "feet" in it again that day can't come quick enough !!!!
He may not be as good as Ederson with his feet (probably nobody is!) but he’s sure as fuck a better shot stopper and penalty saver. Probably one of the best in the world at these.Because, irrefutably, he's not as good as Ederson is with his feet. He's an incredible shot-stopper, but we'll have to adapt our game to suit his abilities. Over the last year, we haven't looked comfortable playing a more industrial style; that's where the doubt comes from.
He’s in the Kyle Walker position of keepers. What’s happening with Stefan?
Why were we so obsessed with ederson being comfortable in controlling a ball with his feet. For me Edersons bravery (particularly pre wolves incident) was his greatest asset. Plus his 100% commitment. He was always a poor shot stopper which over the last few seasons has really cost us. Best for everyone this move..well done Eddie ty for your amazing commitment to the clubHe may not be as good as Ederson with his feet (probably nobody is!) but he’s sure as fuck a better shot stopper and penalty saver. Surely they are the primary duties of a goalkeeper!
Coton's gloves still on the referee's head.Scored against Derby then went in net and saved a penalty.
I can hear keepers everywhere gnashing their teeth at you belittling their trade like this :-)Maybe more players could do it, for example a tall striker who gets the wrong side of 30 instead of retiring might try to become a goalie and play many more years than had they stayed upfront!

When I was a kid, the 'goalies' were always the ones who loved the game, but just couldn't play it.
These days it's recognised for the special skillset that it is, and there are lads/lasses growing up wanting to be a keeper from the word go. The money's there too, now, of course.
But if Nunes wanted to try and become a keeper, I'd be all for it...
Unusual for him to take the number of a player on loan.

Donnarumma’s shirt number confirmed
Gianluigi Donnarumma will wear the No.25 shirt for Manchester City.www.mancity.com
I think that he's the only keeper out there with a big enough personality to come in and make it his, straight away.
Poor old Trafford must feel that his life has turned upside down over the past few weeks
Don't think he wants to be seen as flakyYeah I wonder why he's taken 25? He has no previous attatchment to it. Unlike 99 which is available. . . seems a strange choice.
