As he says in the interview he is brave and likes to put his head where others put their feet,it's going to be heart attack inducing but he is young and fearless and i think we will love him,a 6 yr contract is amazing and very unusual, pep has really invested in him
At his age he will make plenty of mistakes but as you say he has plenty of skills alreadyYeah he is an eccentric keeper and he will cost us a few goals storming off his line but the rest of his game looks top notch.
So... How good is he? And will he go straight in as first choice?
On line video of him looks like he's class, all keepers make mistakes but looks like he will try to command his area, Bravo, Willy and not even Joe did this also has a huge kick and throw which will be handy as even Joe took so long to get rid of the ball. Teams can't press really high in numbers if your keeper can get it forward behind their back line with the pace we have up on the flanks. Most sides in the lower half of the table (plus United) put men behind the ball but we usually found a way to beat them but the better sides in Europe and the likes of Liverpool and Spurs caused us problem when pressing us high up,the pitch.
But City will account in £stirling not Euros so it will go through the books in £ not Euros.I get that, but we didn't buy him in £'s we bought him Euro. So he's no where near the most expensive keeper in the world.
The conversion is just another sad attempt to hike up the price.
Buffon was near €18 million cheaper.
The desperation to paint us different to any other is boring. Buffon was never converted to £'s as he was never bought in £'s.
The measurement is Euros as they were both bought in Euros. For me anyway.
