I'm cautiously optimistic about this signing. I must confess I don't know enough about him to know quite how he'll fare in the Premier League but I'm pretty sure we'll have to be patient with him and expect a bedding in period.
 
Ederson Moraes welcome to Manchester City!! Well I'm still holding out hope for Claudio, but if he never works out I'm now much less concerned. Ederson reminds me of Joe, a bigger keeper capable of saving games himself, and his distribution also looks very good. Can't wait to see how he gets on.
 
Well I hope now it has happened people are going to give kladze some respect.
As usual his sources were correct.
 
Seems a lot of money to me for the player, based on his profile, but Pep knows a lot more about football than me so will trust his judgement.
 
Total opposite of last season from the goalkeeping perspective. I'm actually very optimistic about this signing. May take time to settle in to the physicality of the league. It seems to have all the right attributes and at his age has planets of time to develop.
 
Nice interview...that lady speaking Portuguese sounded really upbeat. Thank God they didn't get that depressing English guy who does some of the other interviews. The best of luck to the lad because the media here will be going all out to get him...I hope the fans really get behind him.
 
Portuguese woman I know, who is a Benfica fan, was genuinely angry and gutted that we got him.

Hope he's as good as she says.
