That is how proper football clubs conduct transfer business, total respect on all sides & everyone comes away happy. Compare that to the Harry Kane/Levy shenanigans, no wonder they very rarely sign English players or indeed many from the PL when everyone knows how Levy operates, Spurs right now are a stepping stone to the top and players will think twice about joining them in the future when people like HK have to take drastic measures after he’s pulled a fast one
